Because it’s
worth protecting.
Protecting animals, land, and the people who call it home.
Three decades of commitment: built on passion, not politics
For nearly 30 years, our founders have personally funded anti-poaching units, veterinary care, wildlife relocations, and farm operations, without government support or external donations.
Our work has always been driven by responsibility, integrity, and a deep respect for wildlife.
In August 2019, this long-standing commitment was formalised through the establishment of Kruger Conservation NPC. Working with trusted and experienced partners, we expanded our focus beyond direct protection to include research, wildlife rehabilitation, community engagement, and long-term conservation solutions.
All areas in which Kruger Conservation operates are community-owned land. Our projects were established to restore wildlife populations in landscapes once rich in biodiversity, while actively engaging and educating local communities in financially sustainable practices and wildlife-based land use.
By securing and developing these areas as fully protected conservation landscapes, we ensure that both wildlife and local people benefit in the long term.
Our Achievements
For Wildlife, People, and the Planet
Wildlife
Protecting species through anti-poaching efforts, relocations, GPS monitoring, and rehabilitation.

Rhino Monitoring & Protection
This rhino has been fitted with a GPS collar to help us monitor its movements, ensure its safety, and protect it from poaching.
Every animal we track receives full veterinary care and regular health assessments, allowing us to respond quickly to medical issues or potential threats.
GPS monitoring also enables us to manage habitats effectively, support genetic diversity, and maintain healthy, secure wildlife populations.
Giving wildlife the best possible chance to thrive.
People
Supporting local communities through education, jobs, and sustainable development.

Community Conservation
Where humans and wildlife meet, conflict often arises, for local families, it is a matter of survival; for wildlife, it is a fight to stay alive.
That is why our work is rooted in community-based conservation. We focus on providing education, employment, and opportunities for sustainable development.
Only when local communities benefit directly from protecting wildlife can real, lasting conservation success be achieved.
Planet
Preserving habitats and ecosystems for generations to come.

Every species matters. By protecting habitats and managing wildlife responsibly, we restore balance and give ecosystems the chance to recover and thrive, preserving them for generations to come.

Relocating Giraffes for a Thriving Future
To ensure healthy populations and prevent inbreeding, we carefully relocate giraffes to new habitats where they can safely reproduce and flourish. Every move is planned with the animals’ welfare as our top priority, helping to secure a strong and diverse future for these iconic creatures of the Greater Kruger.

Protecting Rhinos from the Threat of Poaching
Rhinos in the Greater Kruger are under constant threat from poachers, making every conservation effort critical. Our work involves a careful, step-by-step process to ensure their safety and long-term survival. This includes veterinary health checks, careful relocation to safer areas to maintain genetically healthy populations, and fitting GPS collars to monitor their movements in real-time.Relocation reduces the risk of inbreeding and helps establish thriving herds in secure habitats, while GPS tracking allows rangers to detect potential poaching threats immediately and respond effectively. Every intervention, from medical care to technology-driven monitoring, plays a vital role in protecting these iconic animals. Through these efforts, we not only safeguard individual rhinos but also contribute to the broader mission of preserving the species and ensuring that future generations can continue to witness these magnificent creatures in the wild.
